Rigorous design for cultural permanence

Operating from a studio in London, we merge the structural discipline of archival book design with quiet, high-performance digital architecture for contemporary art institutions.

/ Methodology

The discipline of subtraction

We believe a layout is complete not when there is nothing more to add, but when every superfluous gesture has been stripped away. Our work honors the quiet authority of negative space and the physical weight of ink on paper.

Every layout is calibrated to establish an editorial rhythm that respects the viewer's intelligence.

Background

Simran Singh

Formed in the discipline of classical typesetting and editorial architecture, Simran Singh established the London practice to serve institutions seeking visual permanence. Every commission is approached as a lasting contribution to the cultural landscape.

Prior to founding the studio, Simran collaborated with national galleries and independent publishers across Europe. Today, the practice remains deliberately small, accepting a limited number of comprehensive commissions each year.
